On December 1, 2004, sports agent Mason Ashe, formerly a founding
partner of Strickland & Ashe Management, LLC of Washington, DC,
launched Ashe Sports & Entertainment Consulting, Inc. (also referred
to as “ASEC”) in Orlando, Florida.
Ashe, has represented some of the most notable professional athletes
in the NBA, NFL, WNBA, and CBA for over fourteen years. Currently,
he represents Aaron Brooks, starting quarterback of the New
Orleans Saints, among other notable clients in sports and
entertainment.
ASEC will conduct business from its headquarters in Orlando,
Florida. The services offered include contract negotiations,
marketing, media relations, and business management consulting to
professional athletes and entertainers nationwide.
ASEC is the product of Ashe and his long-time partner and mentor,
Bill Strickland, reaching a mutual agreement that the time had come
to end their seven-year partnership. Prior to Strickland & Ashe
Management, they spent four years together at IMG, the global leader
in sports management.
